Scanner Installation Steps

Here’s some information in the event you need to re-install your Contex scanner and software:

• Make sure your are logged onto the PC with full administrative rights
• Disconnect the scanner from the PC
• Install Widesystems – download from Contex’ website (http://support.contex.com)
• Activate Widesystems either over the internet or manually with your activation code
• Reboot the PC
• Reattach the scanner to PC with USB cable
• Load the drivers when prompted
• Install Nextimage software – also download from Contex’ support website
• Remove USB cable and attach network cable if applicable
